These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of dahliastudy.live and related services (the "Service") provided by Dahlias Ai Study INC ("Dahlias", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Who you are contracting with
You are contracting with Dahlias Ai Study INC, trading as "Dahlias". You confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, or, if using the Service on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The Service
Dahlias is an AI-assisted study workspace that helps students summarise materials, generate flashcards, plan assignments, and prepare for exams. Features and limits depend on the plan you select.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including probing, scanning, or scraping;
- upload malware or attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service;
- circumvent technical limits, quotas, or the credit ("water") system.
4. AI outputs
The Service uses AI models to generate outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased and are provided for educational assistance only. You are responsible for your prompts, how you use outputs, and for verifying accuracy before relying on them. AI outputs are not a substitute for professional advice.
You must have the rights to any content you upload. You grant Dahlias a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and process your content solely to provide the Service. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms.
5. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
6. Payment, subscriptions, and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
Dahlias and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. No other rights are granted by implication.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may export your data for a reasonable period before deletion.
9. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Dahlias against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dahlias Ai Study INC is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
